Ramazan-dinner
Turkey is fast approaching the festival of Ramazan (September 1st). This does not have too much effect on the tourist areas but should you be in a rural area, please be advised that you will not easily find any refreshment facilities open.
The festival of Ramazan here lasts for a full month. It is a period of “Oruc” (fasting) from sunrise until sunset and the fast is not just from food and water but from smoking and sexual relations too!
