Magi is in her 40’s and is experienced in all things Turkish having called it her home for the past 12 years. Originally from Northumberland with a background in Logistics Management, she has 2 grown Children in the UK, Donna a Chemist and Kevin a cheeky chappie and, she is also a glamorous granny to 5 year old Courtney. As a former Mahellesi Rep and current Voices Columnist, she brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to WIT along with her excellent language skills and will no doubt attack her role with Gusto like she does everything else!

Life & Death in Turkey/Proof Reading
Debbie is in her early 50's and, like a stick of rock, is stamped "Welsh" through and through. She has been living in Didim with her husband, Steve, for the past 3 years and has no desire to return to the UK, preferring to fully embrace all aspects of Turkish life. She has one daughter, Shellie, who is an interior designer in Cardiff. Debbie was a qualified lawyer in the UK but chose to take early retirement and follow her dream of living in Turkey. She is an active member of WIT and is the natural choice for our legal advisor due to her background
SAMANTHA BROWN

Sam is in her 20's and orginally from the North East of England. Her background is in Shipbroking but she swapped that 5 years ago for a life in the sun and is now a holiday rep here in Altinkum. Her bubbly personality & knowledge of Altinkum are a great asset to WIT.

Leman is in her 20’s and single. She lives in Didim with her parents and works for the Didim Belediye (Council) as an “Information Officer”. She is an enthusiastic member of the team and is always willing to help and her connections with the council make her a valuable member of WIT.

Laura is in her 30's and full time resident in Altinkum. She is happily married to Hakan and together they run "Didim Yachting" from their luxury boat. Originally from London with a background in PR, Laura puts her skills to good use for the sake of WIT and is also an excellent minute taker!

Cindy is in her 50's and has been happily married to Dave for 40 years, with 2 grown up children. They now live here in Didim, having retired to the country they fell in love with 24 years ago. Her background was in accounts and then she spent 16 years working in the Travel Industry before setting up a catering business with her husband. Cindy puts her accounting skills to good use for WIT as our Lady Treasurer.

Zilpha is retired and has lived in Didim for the past 2 years. She has 2 grown up daughters and grandchildren that include a set of twins.

Caroline is in her 30's and is engaged. Orginally from Scotland, she now resides in Yesilkent and is kept busy by her 2 German Shepherds, one of which has just had 5 adorable puppies. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, playing guitar and hand making greeting cards. With her HR background, Caroline is the perfect Information Officer for WIT.
CLARE KOC

Clare is in her 30's and comes from Middlesbrough. She worked in customer services before coming to Altinkum in 1997. She fell in love with the place and her husband Ali and has been here since, apart from a couple of stays in UK to have her 2 children, Leyla and Kaya.
She worked as a rep for a few years in Altinkum, but is now a full time mum.
She enjoys cooking, knitting, making jewellry and is a shopaholic. She also enjoys a good night out and is partial to a couple of gins!
GABY PHILIPP

Gaby is in her 30's and moved to Didim in june 2006 from Munich in Germany. She lives with her husband Ediz and their dog Moby in Altinkum. She worked as an accountant before. Now she runs a computer-business here with her husband. That is why she is responsible for all PC-things and the WIT-website.
